Immigration Law

Ana has successfully handled numerous family-based immigration applications to the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS). Including marriage petitions, petitions for victims of a crime (U-Visa), petitions for victims of domestic violence (VAWA), special immigrant juvenile status (SIJS), deferred action (DACA), asylum, permanent resident card renewal, employment authorization, and citizenship. This includes preparing clients for their USCIS interviews as well as representing clients in USCIS interviews to ensure that their rights are protected at that USCIS officers treat them respectfully and fairly. Ana also has successfully represented clients in their deportation hearings in Immigration Court in Philadelphia and Newark.

Ana is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Philadelphia chapter. Ana is Co-Chair of the AILA Essay Contest Committee for the 2016-2017 year.
