Conor Deane
I am a Canadian citizen, born and raised approximately 100 miles Northwest of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I first came to the United States in 2015 to begin law school at Villanova University. Prior to coming to the US, I obtained my Bachelor of Commerce degree from MacEwan University in Edmonton in 2014.
After settling into the Philadelphia area and graduating with a Juris Doctorate degree from Villanova, I began practicing civil insurance defense throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania, primarily handling personal injury and property loss cases on behalf of numerous Defendants – ranging from sole proprietorships to Fortune 500 companies. Subsequently, I changed practices to represent employers in Worker’s Compensation cases throughout New Jersey.
Though the experience I received in my previous work endeavors was instrumental to my development as an attorney – I didn’t gain a sense of fulfillment while representing large corporations and insurance companies. As I have had to personally navigate immigration and visa matters while studying at Villanova and subsequently transitioning to a full time attorney, I understand the complexity involved with immigration, and can empathize with the daunting and extremely stressful nature of dealing with immigration issues on a personal level.
I am extremely excited to be part of the Ferreira Law team and assist individuals with their immigration issues. My goal is to ultimately aid anyone who chooses to come to Ferreira Law to find the ideal outcome for their own unique circumstance, while ensuring they understand the process along the way.
I am licensed to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
