Keira Rhoat
Keira Rhoat attended the College of Charleston in South Carolina where she graduated with a B.A. in Political Science. Shortly after graduating, Keira went to work in the House of Representatives on Capitol Hill in D.C. serving the district she grew up in. A few years later, Keira had returned to Charleston, SC and started attending the Charleston School of Law.
Keira graduated with her J.D., magna cum laude, in 2.5 years. She was recognized for her academic achievements with Presidential Honors and received Pro Bono recognition for completing over 250 hours of pro bono work during school. Additionally, Keira was the associate managing editor of the Charleston Law Review and the student representative for the faculty’s ad hoc committee on student wellness. Keira was a law clerk for an immigration firm in Charleston where she fell in love with immigration law.
In addition to her experience working as an immigration attorney in New Jersey, Keira also spent time working as a public defender in Montgomery County, PA, and a plaintiff’s employment attorney.
Beyond the law, Keira is a yoga and meditation teacher. She has two dogs and spends her time discovering the vast culinary scene of Philadelphia.
